Dr. Tysen grew up on a farm in Iowa. He played many sports growing up, and after suffering a couple of injuries, found his passion for sports medicine. He attended Iowa State University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health. Following undergrad Dr. Tysen moved to Overland Park to attend Cleveland University-Kansas City, where he earned his doctorate of Chiropractic. In his free time, Dr. Tysen enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching sports, trying new restaurants, and playing golf.
